QAHE Partners with GAFM for Institutional Accreditation; Amintha Becomes First Sri Lankan to Receive GAFM's 'Certified Digital Finance Professional' Certification

QAHE (International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-tertiary and Higher Education) and GAFM (Global Academy of Finance and Management) have joined forces to provide institutional accreditation in education and training. This collaboration comes as Amintha Sugath De Silva, an adviser at the Fintech Association of Sri Lanka (FASL), becomes the first Sri Lankan recipient of GAFM's esteemed 'Certified Digital Finance Professional' certification.

Amintha received the prestigious certification at the Digital Finance Forum held recently at the Hilton Colombo. The event, organized by the Asian FinTech Academy (AFTA) in collaboration with the International Board of Standards (IBS) based in Colorado, USA, showcased the expertise and achievements of professionals in the digital finance sector. Amintha's accomplishment highlights his dedication to staying at the forefront of the industry.

With over 25 years of banking experience and training from renowned institutions such as Mckinsey & Company, USA, Amintha has established himself as a leading figure in customer relationship management and cross-selling in the financial services sector. Currently serving as the Chief Visionary Officer of Vision 8 Academy, Amintha conducts training sessions locally and internationally, imparting his knowledge to professionals across leading banks in Sri Lanka, as well as institutions in Dubai, UAE, and the Maldives.

By partnering with GAFM, QAHE expands its accreditation portfolio to include institutional accreditation, ensuring that educational institutions meet the highest standards of quality and excellence. GAFM, operating in over 40 nations worldwide, holds certifications and trademarks conferred by the IBS, a charter member signatory to the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in Washington, D.C., and with an agreement with the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) in Kansas, USA.

The collaboration between QAHE and GAFM represents a significant milestone in promoting institutional accreditation, accreditation in education, and training accreditation. Together, they strive to establish a robust accreditation framework that fosters educational excellence and continuous improvement on a global scale.
